Yay for warm weather

Woohoo, another warm day. The hubster and I invited some friends over for some burgers we grilled out on the porch. I had almost forgotten how good the steak burgers from carfagnas are.

We had the burgers with lettuce, avocado, onion, and bacon, grilled veggies, chips, pickle, and corn on the cob. Can't wait until the weather is here to stay and we can grill all the time.

A while back ago, I bought this amazing plush throw from Restoration Hardware which by the way is now referred to as RH.  Anyway, I love these things.  So much so that I bought another one because the hubster and I don't want to share.

I buy these as gifts for every occasion.  Housewarming, wedding, birthday, baby, everything.  And everyone loves them, raves about them.  I recently found out that they only carry them in the winter months and I wondered if I should stock up for upcoming events that would require gifts.  Well imagine my surprise when I randomly popped onto their site and saw them for $20 a piece.  They are $59 or $69 regular price.  I paid $35 or $40 for the ones I have.

I bought 6 of them...  a bit much?  I dunno, the hubster okayed the purchase.  We have at least one wedding coming up and one of ours needs to be freshened up a bit.

Excited about lunch

Not sure why, but I'm really excited about the lunch I packed: ingredients to make cheese quesadilla, avocado, tortilla chips, pineapple salsa, and sour cream.

The hubster switched out my winter tires, changed the spark plugs, and replaced the valve cover gasket of my car. I helped! Sometimes I forget to say thanks and give my appreciation to him because he definitely saves a lot of money for us by doing these repairs himself. Gotta try and remember that.
