Welcome to adulthood

I walked away from a perfect pair of Tory Burch flats because I'd rather spend the money on furniture for my craft room / she-den as the hubster calls it. *sigh*

Donald Duck

I was making myself a cup of coffee today at home and when I reached into the utensil drawer, what did I see?




Yes, the Donald Duck spoon. I swear we've had this spoon for as long as I've been alive. I'm making sure my parents leave it to me in their will.

San Diego

Our trips back to San Diego always revolve around food. What about the beach or tourist traps? Disneyland or trips to LA? Nope, it's all about the food. So nice we landed and got picked up by my dad, what did we do? We made a beeline to Jalepenos for some lunch.





Carne asada fries and California burritos! It was heaven on a plate. We went to a buffet for dinner last night. After my run this morning, I had another Cali favorite. Jamba juice smoothies.





Aloha pineapple! I think the hubster wants in n out for lunch. With this kind of diet, I'll have to run 10 miles every day. I always tell people when they ask me what I miss the most about San Diego, I always answer the same: the FOOD.

I wonder what's for dinner tonight.

Another kind of anniversary

So this week marks another kind of anniversary for me: my five year service anniversary at work! I can't believe I've been working at the same company for five straight years. It flew by so quickly. To commemorate this event, work threw a little social which was nice except for one problem:

How about now? It seems after five years someone had some trouble with my name. That's some gratitude you got there work! I did get a nice letter from the president of my company and a nice website to choose an award from! I picked a tent!

Here's to another five years... I guess.
