Unprepared

Well, after a late night last night from a late starting lacrosse game, I still managed to wake up in time, get ready for my big meeting today and get into work on time.  So why am I unprepared?

While driving into work, I happened to look down at my feet and remembered that I forgot to take the nail polish off of my toes.  Now this normally is not a problem, but I had painted my toes back in January.  Therefore, there is only nail polish half of my big toe only.  Not very professional looking in peep toe shoes =(

Here I am dressed to the professional nines and have janky toes.  *sigh*  So I spend 10 minutes in my car in my work parking lot trying to scrape off the remaining polish.  Would it have been more efficient to stop at a gas station to buy some nail polish remover?  Perhaps, but I didn't want to waste the time or spend the money. Well, it all came off, so not a big deal.

On a side note, I need help with the zipper on this dress, but I was able to manage to zip it up this morning unassisted, only to realize I forget to put on deodorant.  The sleeves on this dress are not conducive to putting on deodorant after it is on.  I tried valiantly to unzip it, but it didn't work.  I had to wake the hubster to do it for me.  He struggled quite a bit and just flopped around on the bed like a fish out of water.  It gave me a good chuckle.  I think he had a harder time zipping it back up than unzipping it.  He's so silly.

Regret

Ugh I should not have inhaled that sonic strawberry milkshake at today's team meeting.

The Eagle has landed

Screen shots from the eagle cam.  Two of the three eggs have hatched.  Managed to catch a shift change this morning between mom and dad.

Lo and behold, 700 miles after my warranty expires, my check engine light comes on.  PERFECT!

Hopefully, it's nothing serious, but FML!!
