Waste of time and money

After our last trip, the hubster and I have semi-decided to have some sort of status on an airline. It's doable, but would require getting an airline card. Is it worth it for free first class upgrades to be chained to one airline perpetually trying to maintain status?

I've been reading a lot about it as was surprised I discover that people who have status which in my mind equates to flying a lot never cash in their miles for free tickets. I guess that's the other observation I have made. There are two type of fliers out there using thee programs. Those that want status for upgrades and those that want any kind of miles to redeem for free tickets. Which one am I?

Sheltered?

I'm having a tough time finding the right word for the title of this post. First it was naive, but that doesn't quite fit.

Anyway, I have a very skewed view of the world. I definitely live in my own bubble. So last night at volleyball, one of the girls on my team was complaining about how she couldn't spray tan because she hurt her legs the other night. (I don't know this girl, I am on the team through a coworker). I was kinda shocked that people actually spray tan and use tanning beds. I mean I see lots of stores offering those services everywhere, but I've never known anyone who has done it. Or maybe ive never asked about or had been told. It's like smoking. Why do people do it when it's so bad for you?

Red is silly

I gave red a carrot for a snack and she walks over to the TV and drops her carrot on the ground where it rolls in between the tv and the speaker. She's so sad. She just lays there and sticks her nose in the crack and cries. I had to help her. Poor doggie

Reason #7 why the hubster is the best

He puts up with all sorts of shit with me when we travel. For example, I always get the window seat. He also let's me just lay wherever I want so I can sleep. Previously, I would drape my legs over his so he couldn't use the seat tray to hold his stuff. This last trip I switched it up and used his tray table to rest my head and his legs were supporting my shoulders as I was curled up in a ball in my seat. Only love makes you give up your comfort for another.
