Usually this time of year, I will find myself on a plane headed to the east coast to attend the USL Convention. Well, not this year.
I had every intention of going except when I checked my Delta app last night to find that I had booked my ticket for the wrong fucking weekend! Le sigh. If you know me, I don't make these kinds of mistakes. I am a meticulous planner. What the heck happened? I'll tell you what! Baby brain!
So last night, I had the tough decision of whether to scramble and rebook or cancel all together. If I cancel, I would lose out on the plane ticket (which I'll get a credit minus the change fee to use the credit) and the cost of registration. If I rebook, I would have to pay $$$ or mucho miles for a new flight which would get me there, but I might be trapped due to the impending blizzard ready to hit Baltimore.
Well I decided after looking at my flight options and the weather forecast to not attend. I really don't want to take a red eye with two layovers only to find myself stuck in Baltimore and having to take more time off that I'm trying to save for my maternity leave.
I will miss seeing all my lacrosse friends that I don't usually get to see and since this year, I'm not travelling out to Ohio for lacrosse games this season, I will not see them for a while. Probably not until after the baby comes.
It was a tough decision, but I think it's for the best.

Clothes and pregnancy
It's starting! The bump is coming!
And now I don't know how to dress. I stopped at kohls yesterday with $60 in kohls cash and a mission. I could not find anything I liked that would suit a growing belly. I need help or more time or something.

Guest blogger!
That's what I'm calling the emails and texts the hubster sends me recounting my nighttime conversations.
I've always talked in my sleep, but it's more frequent or funnier now that I'm pregnant.
So here's the first in the series:
