Annual Snowboarding Trip

This year's snowboard trip was a repeat visit to Salt Lake City, a perennial favorite.  This was in part due to the shortage of PTO all around since my little brother is getting married in June in Hawaii.  The number of attendees almost doubled.  It's usually myself, the little brother, and my friend Kristina.  The hubster decided to join us this year along with my brother's fiancee, my co-worker, and Kristina's friend.  A full house!

I decided to try Airbnb this time around because we decided to try Powder Mountain and Snow Basin vice Park City or one of the other canyon resorts.  We ended up staying in Layton in a private home's finished basement.  Aside from the one bathroom for 7 people, the place was really great.  It had 6 pinball machines, a pool table, a huge movie room with stadium seating, and a hot tub.  It was also missing a full kitchen, but the hot plates and convection oven was sufficient for our breakfast needs.

Without further ado, the pictures!

Day 3 at Snow Basin

Lunch at the lodge at the summit of Snow Basin.  The hubster bought a walk on pass to ride the gondalo with us.  What a great view!
