Listen to your body

That's the lesson I learned today. I woke up and went on a run like I usually do on the weekends. A mile in and I was hurting. I was slow and legs were tired. I wondered if it could have been my yoga class I took yesterday that made me so tired. I pushed through and at the second mile, I had to stop and walk. And that's when it hit me

Stomach cramps!! I thought I was going to die or poop my pants right there. You're welcome for that image. I was still 3/4 of a mile away from home, so I did what any wife would do: I called the hubster to pick me and Red up.

So I'm attributing my slow pace and tired legs to my body telling me something isn't right. Once I stopped running, my lungs didn't feel like they were collapsing and legs didn't feel like jelly.

What else are you saying and I'm not hearing?!?
