What school do you play for?!?!?!

I was being a bit crabby today, so my oh-so-smart hubster decides to take me out to get my belated Christmas gift.  A new lacrosse stick/head.  Since I finally decided which one I wanted, we hopped into Heidi and drove over to Midwest Lacrosse and picked up the DeBeer Tempest Pro 2.  Surprisingly, the head was cheaper than anything online and $5 cheaper than what was quoted to me over the phone.  Here she is:




I was trying to choose between a white or black head to see which would match my green Harrow shaft.  I asked the young worker (he could not have been more than 15) which one he preferred.  His response just blew me away.  I'm still in shock.

Kid: What school do you play for?
Me: *blink* *blink*
Me: I play post collegiate, so no real team.
Kid:  I like the black.  You see good players with darker colored heads.
Me:  Ooooooo-k

What school do you play for?  Hahahahaha!!  ROFL!!  LOL!!  ROFLCOPTER!!!

I sure hope I do not look like a high schooler or do I want to look like I'm in high school?  I'm getting closer and closer to 30 and I realized last year that I was at least a decade older than anyone on that field.  Should I be flattered or just chalk it up to some kid who doesn't know how to tell how old someone is?  If he thought I played in college, I guess that would be ok.  I'm only 7 years removed from undergrad.  I'm just being sensitive about my age and aging.
