Honeycrisp Apples

are the best apples ever.  OMG, these apples are so good, and I am so glad that the hubster went to pick me 20 lbs of them while I was out of town.  I've had 3 of them so far and everyone has been super delicious.  I almost don't want to bake with them.  I could spend another $10 and pick some other inferior apple to bake with.  I'm going to make apple butter, apple pie (hopefully, I can get the pie crust right this year), apple crisp, and apple cake.  I need to stock up on butter for all this baking.  Maybe I should look up some more apple recipes.  I wonder if the Donut Man will have a seasonal apple donut.  He did have the apple fritter that wasn't that great.  It probably wasn't made with honeycrisp apples.  I gave one to a coworker during our golf outing yesterday.  He's hooked too.  I love these apples.
