Dang It

I'm so mad right now.  I hate it when this stuff happens.

So when I was out in San Diego, I went shopping for my mom to buy accessories for her outfit for my cousin's wedding in October.  I ended up buying her a belt from Nordstrom, earrings from Macy's, and a necklace from Banana Republic.

As I was perusing the sale section of Nordstrom.com yesterday, I saw that the belt I bought was on sale for 50% off.  Sweet.  Nordstrom's return policy is great so I'll just have mommy return the belt and I'll buy the new one at the lower price.  Save myself some money.

But alas, it was not meant to be.  I called my mom and left her a voicemail.  She returned my call last night and I told her to return the belt.  I just checked the site this morning and of course, it was sold out!  I should have just bought it yesterday morning.  I don't know why I waited...  Yes, I do.  I bought the hubster some sunglasses with some Nordstrom Notes and I didn't like how they looked on his face.  So I wanted to return them yesterday, get my store credit back, and use that to buy the belt.

The shitty thing is that I didn't even return the sunglasses yesterday.  I ended up reading The Hunger Games instead of doing anything else.  Oh well, another opportunity lost.

Maybe it'll turn up on the site over the next few days.  Here's to hoping.
