It was a beautiful day today and I'm so glad we got to spend it outside picking apples and pumpkins at Lynd's. We were lucky to have the stepson with us. We had a lot of fun even if the girls were being a little rowdy in the pumpkin patch.
We got a butt load of apples which will be turned into apple crisp, apple pie, and apple butter in the coming weeks and a good variety of pumpkins. We'll be carving them in two weeks when we have the stepson again. This year we only got two carvable pumpkins so that means the hubster and I will have to collaborate and agree on a design!!! I smell trouble in the future.
