I participated in my work's chili cook-off today. I made my white chicken chili which is a modified version of what I found online. I add ground turkey, corn, and extra chicken broth to mine. Anyway, I placed 4th our of 7, and you might be saying, that doesn't make you a winner. In fact, it makes me quite mediocre.
Well, I won the unconventional chili category which consisted of two entries, mine and someone else! *sigh* It's like winning at intramural soccer where everyone gets a medal at the end. I did get a $25 gift card to City BBQ, so that's a plus.
