Brains...

I've been having bad dreams about the zombie apocalypse lately.  It's usually right after I watch the Walking Dead with the hubster.  Zombies never used to bother me, but now they do.  I was ok for the first season, but there's something that's different this time around.  Maybe because these zombies are a little quicker paced than your usual zombie.  At least, I could outrun those.  I go through the show hiding under the covers with my ears covered when a particular tense, zombie filled scene pops up and the hubster gives me a play by play of what's going on.  I can't tell if he's really enjoying the show or laughing at his scaredy cat wife because he's always smiling when I'm under the covers.

Last night's zombie dream woke me up and kept me up for a few minutes and required me to wake up the hubster.  A little embarassing, yes, but that's what he's there for.  I also worry that if a zombie apocalypse were you happen that we'd have to get rid of the dogs because their barking would surely alert the zombies to our presence, and I can't keep running away from zombies because of the dogs.  Maybe their instincts will kick in and they will be quiet.  I doubt it because Egg Roll barks at the hubster every night when he comes in for bed.  She's so lazy that she barks from under the covers.  *sigh*  Our dogs will be the death of us once the zombies come.
