I usually adhere to a strict no Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving rule, but not this year. Since we will be out of town for Thanksgiving and we will have the step son this weekend, I'm going to put up the tree a week early. This way we can take some family pictures for the Holiday cards that we send out. Last year, the step son was omitted because things were rocky with the parents and I wasn't able to get my hands on a picture of him in a Santa hat. You can see last year's Christmas card here.
I still don't know what kind of pictures I want to use, but I'll just take a bunch and wing it.
