I love being surprised by the hubster. I don't mean in the romantic thoughtful way of flowers or balloons or a just because gift/card. I mean chores or tasks on the to-do list that sometimes slip my mind or just helping with things on my plate. I woke up from a nap from the hubster to an email he forwarded to me for a listing of our washer and dryer on Craigslist.
I was so surprised he followed through on it. I was elated. I had originally just wanted to let Home Depot haul them away for us for free because I didn't think we'd be able to sell them on Craigslist anyway. But he listed them and they sold in like 10 minutes. Amazing! I'm sure we could have asked for a little more, but we got double what the hubster originally paid for them and we definitely got our monies worth with them. I'm so excited things are working out this way. I'm not posting our new washer and dryer until we get them installed, but I am sooooo excited. I've been wanting a new set for FOREVER.
This set we are selling takes so long to dry clothes. Like 2+ hours. I'm sure it's because I overload the washer, but still it makes doing multiple loads on a weekend require major logistical and scheduling skills. With the new ones, I won't even have to set a time for how long to dry. Apparently, this feature is standard for most dryers, but I'm on could 9! My electricity bill will go down. Win win all around. Yay!
And double yay for the hubster!
