I was reading this blog and the blogger is a mother.  She was very emphatic about the point that she knows what's best for her baby and that letting her sleep in the same bad as her and her husband was ok, and it works for them.  That's fine and all, but all I could think about was how crazy she sounded (and I probably took it to the extreme end of the spectrum).  Like in those Law and Order: SVU episode where the mom didn't vaccinate her kids for measles and her kid gave another kid measles and the other kid died!  She knew what was best for her kids, but she inadvertently killed another kid.  It put me off reading this person's blog.  I'm surprised I had such a strong reaction to her statement.  It's not like a disagreed with her decision about sleeping arrangements for her kid, but just how strongly she believed she knew what was best for her kid.

I need a life away from the internet...
