I went to my second spin class yesterday and of course, my butt and accompanying region hurt... a lot. Except this time, it hurt to pee afterwards. Like the next 4 times I peed. Yes, I pee that much between 7:30 and when I go to bed. It was ok when I got up this morning. WTF is going on? Biking shouldn't do that to you. I wonder if my biking shorts make it worse because this has never happened to me before prior to the biking shorts. I wonder if all that extra padding makes me sit differently and squishes all my lady parts weirdly. It felt like it was being pinched the whole time. Yes, definitely TMI.
So I asked the big brother if he had any suggestions for some bike shorts. Maybe the next time I go, I'll skip the padded bike shorts and deal with a sore bum and non hurting peeing.
On a side note, I definitely sweat more when I spin than when I run. My shirt was disgusting and my shorts too! I sweat through the bike shorts and onto my running shorts. EWWWW. The hubster wouldn't give me a hug when I got home from the gym.
