Keep on dancing till the world ends

It's Britney, Bitch!  I went to see Britney Spears' 2011 Femme Fatale Tour last night at Nationwide Arena with my friend Caroline and her friend Riky.  It was a pretty good show and I had a blast.  I didn't know half the songs she performed (I guess I am not that big of a Britney fan).  I blame that on lack of preparation which I blame on the hubster.  It was his responsibility to get me all of Britney's songs so I could listen to them  the week before.  He didn't get them to me until 2 days before and then my computer pooped out on me AGAIN.

So you might be asking why would you go to a Britney concert?  This was my first big concert and I rarely ever go out.  Well, I agreed to go with Caroline on the condition that we dress up as Britney Spears.  We came through with flying colors.  We chose Britney a la "Baby One More Time".  I have to say we nailed it.  See for yourself!

We got a lot of attention and some funny looks, but come on, it's Britney.  We had a random girl ask to take pictures with us which was kinda of awesome.  That means I will be on some random girls Facebook page.  That's fine by me.  We had a gay man say we looked adorable.  We had a little 10 year old girl come up to us and said she loved our outfits.  We had plenty of people yell out, "Hey, it's Britney" and a few drunk people give us high fives.  Not too shabby.

I was very surprised that not that many people opted to dress up as Britney.  It took us almost half the night to find some other Britneys.  I have to say we looked better.

"Slave for you" Britney did give us a run for our money, but we were way more authentic.  And we just looked cooler.  So there is all kinds of Britney memorabilia being hawked at the concert.  One item was a cup with her face on it.  During intermission between DJ Pauly D and Britney, I happened to spot this girl in a white dress modeling with her cup and presumably her friend taking pictures of above mentioned modeling.  It was hilarious.  She was working that cup with her many poses.  So what did we do?  We modeled with Caroline's program.

How studious of us!  Overall, it was a great time.  I make a good Britney.  Maybe she'll make a reappearance at Halloween and the hubster can be K-Fed.
