I finally got a hold of the hubster and this time he was fully awake! I asked him again about the rubber band around the spray nozzle. He says he was messing around last night. That he was trying to spray off a bit of cereal off of his cereal bowl that had dried on to the bowl. Huh? It sounds like how a child would clean something, but maybe he was stressed out from all the studying he has been doing. His last final is today. Maybe a year's worth of education at OSU has cost him his mind.
I get that he's trying to clean the bowl, but what part of that warrants the rubber band? I ask him. Well, apparently, he had it set up so that the tongs were laying across the side sink and the spray nozzle was propped up against it and he was somewhere else? I still am boggled at the whole situation.
But that's how the rubber band got there. So not a satisfying story.
