The hubster's car was broken into sometime Monday night. They broke the newly fixed passenger side window and took a screwdriver to the locking mechanism on the passenger side door. They took almost everything of value from his car including his backpack which is what I'm most upset about. It had all his notes and study guides for school. Everything else is replaceable, but I don't know what he's going to do about those. The friends he has in the class aren't as diligent as he is in attending, so he can't copy notes. He told me not to worry about it, but I can't help it.
I'm so mad because we think we know who did it, but have no way of proving it. We think it was these two kids we saw walking around our complex over the weekend. Our condo community borders two apartment complexes. They usually don't venture into the condo are, but on Saturday when I was outside grilling, I saw these two kids walking around a couple of times. They looked like they were up to no good and definitely did not live in one of the condos. There are very few families who live in our community, mostly retired folks.
The hubster called the insurance companies and he's dealing with all the paperwork today. Ugh, this just sucks.
