Boo Hunger Games

Not because the movie was bad, but because I didn't get to finish the movie.  I broke my long time rule of no seeing movies on opening weekends (because I hate crowded theaters) to watch The Hunger Games.  Unfortunately, it was not to be.  Within the first 5 minutes, I knew I was going to get sick by watching the shaky filming of the movie.  It was so frustrating.  I thought I could power through it like a champ, but maybe 20 minutes into the movie when they first got onto the train, I had to leave.  Poor hubster was a champ and didn't complain when we had to leave.

My older brother went to watch it with his girlfriend too and he had to close his eyes 40 minutes in.  Apparently, he feel asleep, lol!  Why would they shoot the whole movie like that?  I don't think it was cinematically (yes, I just made up that word) necessary to shoot it like that.  I would understand for the action scenes and the killing scenes, but it was shaky for everything!  The hubster said he thought it stopped after a while, but by that time, I would have already thrown up. =(

I really wanted to see it.  I guess I'll just have to rely on my imagination...
