Fire, Basketball, and the Inevitable

Yesterday was the hubster's birthday and we went out to dinner to celebrate.  He picked Sakura, a Japanese Hibachi restaurant, for his birthday dinner.  Dinner was pretty uneventful aside from the fire in display during the dinner "show".  We were seated next to annoying high school couple who sounded like they had never seen raw meat and the girl kept calling her poor boyfriend "Baby".  So annoying.

Afterwards, we met up with friends to watch the OSU play UC in the Sweet 16.  I was told to cheer for UC so that the buckeyes would win.  They did end up winning, but there were some questionable moments in the game, especially the start of the second half.  By the time the game ended, I was about to fall asleep.  I'm getting old.  We headed home where I promptly fell into and fell asleep.

Unfortunately, my white pants did not make it through the night.  I was so careful up until dinner that I let some of the ginger sauce drip into my pants.  Good thing, the sauce was super thin and the stain was much lighter than I thought it would.  I quickly used some hand soap and water on it and it lightened the stain a lot.  When we went home to drop off our leftovers, I used some stain remover on it again.  By the end of the night, you could barely see the stains.  Crisis averted!  However, there are some black scuff marks on the lower part of the pant leg, probably from crossing my legs or something.

Oh well, I should have known that white jeans would not last me very long.  I'm glad I got them for 50% off.
