I've noticed that colored pants (i.e. not black, blue denim, or gray) are "in" right now. I thought buying the white jeans I got was daring of me. I was at Kohl's yesterday morning to see what I could get with my 30% off coupon (I only shop at Kohl's with a 30% coupon). I picked up jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and sweatshirt for the stepson for only $18. Not bad!
I had originally gone in to see if they had some coral colored pants I saw a few weeks ago. They did not have any in my size and they were sold out online. I wandered over the Juniors section and saw some yellow and mint skinny pants for $30. I figured what the heck. They'd be ~$20 after coupon. It's better than the $180 J Brand ones I was looking at online. And honestly, how long will pastel colored pants be "in" for. They fit pretty well and I bought them both. I think I'll return the mint ones because they are a darker mint, almost dirty mint.
I really didn't see myself ever wearing colored pants like these, but it's growing on me. So much so that I'm pinning colored pants for the hubster on Pinterest. He did not like the robin's egg blue pants that I showed him the other night.
